I have had this figure sitting around in the current state for over 4 years at least.

He has a black undercoat and a part blue base coat.

For my commitment for Feb 2014.

Ok lets not talk about how many months it has taken me to finish this one mini. Even I am a little sheepish at the amount of time.

I added a little bit of red flock to the base and now I have to go back and do the same to all my Crimson Fist but I like the little look it gives.

Now with so little time left for this first part of the challenge I will have to figure out what I need to do this month.

More to come hopefully quicker :)

While the whole model looks great, I think the base is my favorite part. It suggests a full environment without taking anything away from the actual figure. I think you're definitely on to something with the red flock. I hope we get to see a lot more of this army over the course of this challenge. Keep up the good work!

Well after careful consideration I have discided that I am going to fill my Elites slots this month but undertaking both my Terminators and my Sternguard.

After not saying how long it took me to complete Kantor and as its 5 days on to May already then lets rock... whats the worse that can happen :)

I have a nice old Metal veteran to lead my sternguard and I knew I was saving those AoBR Termies for something... fingers crossed...

This month seems to be so far a winner (fingers crossed). My terminators are cleaned up and I as I was a little unhappy with there stance I have glued a few arms in at angle and now all I have to do is finish the green stuff like my heavy flamer guys underarm..

Image

While I was waiting for glue to dry I got my Metal Sternguard serge pinned and constructing a backpack and banner pole for him.

May the hobby times keep rolling...

This months commitment is now half done and its not even the 15th yet.

I am happy with the sword as I tried a different way than I usually do with a few washes over the top.. (covers up my worst mistakes well)

I will admit as always looking at the photo and I see so many little things I had missed but table top wise I am ready to rock with them.

Before anyone ask too yes I painted the helms white but that works with the previous 1250 pints of crimson fists I painted some years ago.

Well half down now sternguard to go for this month.

Well I seem to be ticking along at a cracking pace for me. Second half of this month is now cleaned up and ready to undercoat and I have even started working on the serge for my sternguard.

Between Glue and blue tac I am ready to undercoat.

My Serge I still have to work on his backpack which is in my undercoat lot.

Now to work I go in hopes the flow keeps flowing...
