Thanks.

Well it's been a slow week hobby wise (Work......)

Made a little progress.

Bit of a step by step.

More to come soon, hopefully they turn out ok still working through what i want the final scheme to be. Oh and the GW model took a back hand from my missus i won't go into detail but i didn't mind too much ;) After a patch up he'll be back (he's the worst looking of the bunch anyway)

There is lots of win here. I'm looking forward to seeing how these come out.

How many Talos kits' spares have you used to achieve this?

Just used the bits left from to kits. Which did nicely with a bit of improvisation.

These are really cool models and I think the red is gonna be a good color for them. Grats on trying to do some progress even though you've had a rough week. It all adds up!

Cool so far. Interesting how you have details on some areas yet no paint on others. Aren't you afraid of rubbing off details as you handle your models?

It is more the case of working out how i want the models to look when finished. When i decide how i want the painting process to go i apply it to all models in a more logical order. This way i can get my desired effect without painting everything on every model only to change my mind.

Also i tend not to touch my models directly after priming is i can help it. In my experience the areas where green stuff has been used lose the paint rather quickly.

Im not 100% set on the scheme yet. I definitely want a red as my main colour but i want quite a sharp finish which is proving harder to get than on smaller models.

I see. I'm a lumbering animal with my models when I paint. LOL.

I really like the red contrasting with the skintone.

It really depends on the finished look. Right now they kind of have a khornate wibe to me. But thats probably only due to the work in progress state their in.

Otherwise, the Conversions are one of the best ive seen.
