It will take even the hate away and leave an emptiness. An emptiness your puny mind will struggle to fill to utter exhaustion. You will be consumed, yes, but not by "fire." Not by something nearly so petty. I will keep your very essence in a jar and soak in the flickering warmth as it releases all that is "you" ... to me. And when there is no more. When there is nothing left but a husk withered and dried and dusty as absent of spirit as this worthless, dusty rock beneath your failing knees... my haemonculus will find some use for it, I assure you.
Yeah! What she said!! :D

DANGER DANGER.... HIGH VOLTAGE!

I really like both archons, the slight adjustment to his arm position gives him a little something extra and he looks very pensive. Perhaps not the head I would have gone for, but I respect the choice. The classic one is just pure F**KING METAL and is pretty awesome in his own right. It is kindof funny how I personally hated the old models, and got into dark eldar when the new models came in but now looking back some of them have their own charm. You've changed my perspective on them, well done.

Fire in the Disco!

Been working on the renovation all evening while I wait for my Reaper Paints to arrive in the post. A few head and weapons swaps later, the boys are back in town and ready to dish out some poison.

Also popped off the old reavers from their bikes and replaced them with the new riders. They fit surprisingly well, this was pretty seamless swap. Also replaced the stinger mounted rifles with the new style ones.

Should be back to real painting soon!

It warms this old Archon's icy heart to see these classics updated

Looking good, like the rusted/weathered effect.

Thanks guys!

Been working on the third army today, for some eldar centric terrain for my dark kin to battle over.

I had a long phonecall with my girlfriend and the only paint within arms reach was Typhus Corrosion. So I did some weathering... and then some more. :D

Cheers, and hopefully more real painting soon...

It looks really nice Cicero. I like the extreme weathering on it, it really drives home the fact that the eldar are a dwindling race and their civilization is slowly falling to ruins around them. I will definitely fight your dark eldar over that :P.
