It's been a while...

Post by student teacher » Tue May 10, 2016 7:06 am

I painted a White Scars army a couple years ago. To help myself NOT go insane painting all that white, I decided to add an inquisitorial warband, a squad of LotD and a Squad of Deathwatch (counts as Sternguard).

Well now I'm going back to make it a full 2000 put White Scars army. This is going to be one of the Squad Leaders.

Its good to see you posting ST! However your image is not showing. I suspect its behind security if you originally posted it on your Google page.

So this is what I am shooting for. I am trying out some of the formations from the Angels of Death book.

Hunting Force
Kor'sarro Khan on Moon Drakken Complete
Command Squad of 5 Bikes and Apothecary
Bike Squad x7, Vet Sergeant w/PW, Grav gun x2 Complete
Bike Squad x7, Vet Sergeant w/PW, Grav gun x2 Complete
Attack Bike x3, Multi-melta x3
Scout Bike x3

Speartip Strike
Landspeeder, Multi-melta, Typhoon Complete
Landspeeder, Multi-melta, Typhoon Complete
Landspeeder, Multi-melta, Typhoon
Bike Squad x7, Vet Sergeant w/PW, Meltagun x 2
Bike Squad x7, Vet Sergeant w/PW, Plasma gun x2

I would like to have this done in time to do an Armies on Parade with them. I have an idea of getting some tall static grass from Woodland Scenics, and having these guys riding through the grass.

First small update. I bought a bike box set. These three guys are going together. I had an old box of metal biker dudes one with a melta and one with plasma so that is one of each of those guys I've got.

I also got the base coat on the Deathwatch dude and the other three dudes.
