Here's a little update
Almost done with the genestealer brood (no pic)
Here is my Deathwing venerable dreadnought

Got a few weapons mostly done. Got the legs and main body real close too. First Deathwing to paint. Was a challenge to do the light color. Now I see why people hate painting white.
Looking forward to putting this one together

Worth the effort, he looks great & the bone colour is nice & smooth.
Nice work on the plasma glow too, just right

Thanks Aaron!
Painted all day and finished him except the storm bolter, flamed, and searchlight. Plus I need more flare, need at least 31 right? :D

Well I stayed up and painted the last few things. Magnetized the 2 little guns. Had more fun with the flamer including matching the death wing paint style on one of the gun panels

Nice! I really like your progress! Very nice Death Wing Dread indeed. The first looks really good and the rest to ;-)

On the flyer, painting marble is really a pain to get it right but I like your approach!

Thanks Crazy Irish. Do you have any tips for the marbling?

 Extra HPC credits for the Office Space reference

He's looking really great. All the details are so crisp, especially the sepia shading in the PF & other areas.
How did you do the text on his lower leg? It's very tidy.

There's someone else on here that painted a DA flyer for the HPC with fairly nice marble effects on the stone parts. If I can remember which thread it was I'll drop a link here

EDIT:  After an intense search of the forums I discovered that you were the one who did a nice job on the marble parts of a Dark Talon. This is what happens when I try to keep track of too many HPC threads
