ADAN?!?!?! I thought he was a figment of our collective imaginations! Does this mean you will actually be around playing 40K sometimes!?! :o

Joking aside, I look forward to seeing your progress and the right chipper old fellows that the Mordians are all nicely painted, polished and such, ready for a good old scrum with the enemies of the Imperium. TALLY HO!

What is this "40K" of which you speak? :P

I picked the Mordians early on because they looked like cops in old-style dress uniforms. Here's the New Jersey State Police, for example:

Ah, I was just making a joke about the fluff that says they always polish their boots and iron their uniforms even if they are in the middle of a warzone. They remind me of the old school redcoats especially the ones from that ridiculous old Mel Gibson movie The Patriot.

Yeah, that and the stuff I read about them in the back of the 4ed IG Codex said they always wear really bright colors because their planet is always in darkness.

Post Re: Adan - Imperial Guard
I went through my stuff yesterday and I have about 120 Cadians and about 140 Mordians. When I originally started buying stuff, I was preparing for a huge (4ed) 4500 pt game. I was picturing the Cadians as the "regulars" and the Mordians as the Veterans. The Cadians have a more high-tech look, so maybe it should be the other way around. I was also thinking of the Cadians as a Penal Legion in the old book -- in the new one, not so much.

I had to pack stuff up quickly because my wife needed the table, but I'm getting them soon (I hope).
