Hi Folks,

Going to get into this. Thanks to those who helped with my list. Iron Warriors are the go.

First 1000 points:
HQ – Warpsmith with MoK, Aura of Dark Glory and Gift of Mutation – 145

Troop I – 10 x Chaos Space Marines - All regular guys have CCW, all have Mark of Khorne, 2 Flamers, Aspiring Champ has Lightning Claws and Gift of Mutation - Icon of Wrath, and Veterans of the Long War (My Up close and personal squad) - 243

Troop II – 10 x CSM - 1 Autocannon and 1 Plasmagun, Aspiring Champ has Gift of Mutation (my shooty squad) - 175

Troop III – 20 x Cultists - 2 Flamers, the rest are swapping out auto pistols for Autoguns, Champion has a Shotgun (my cannon fodder squad to be thrown in front of the precious CSM) - 119

Elite – Hellbrute - can't say, well, I can....but you know.

Heavy Support – 3 x Obliterators - won't say for similar reasons

Actual commitments to follow

Feb commitment

Starting slow as I have around 40 IG, a Chimera and a Manticore to complete for a tournament in the middle of the month. After this, it gets a little more full on.

I will complete.....a Hellbrute (told you it was a slow start)

If your handwringing is anything to go off your painting going to be great. I wound worry about the slow start I'm only painting up one marine this mouth, I wanted to spend the time getting the look right, before paint touches model. And anyway that hellburte quite a feet to paint.

LOL, I wish. I am an engraver by trade, so when I put my mind to it, writing looks fine, so I appreciate the comment. Painting is another matter though, but that's what this challenge will help with as well. I'll be checking as many other entries as well for inspiration and ideas.

Can't wait to see that painted! I'm a huge fan of the Helbrute model. It's just a really sweet looking model.

OK then. February complete. Given the amount of travel I have lined up for March, it is going to be difficult to do, but on the occasions I'm home, the missus will just have to come out to the shed and talk to me :) (Don't tell her I said that...please)

Hellbrute done - this is him from the front. You are right Hi2you2, they are very nice models. Just hope I can do them justice. Not to worry though, I'm having a blast painting them.

And this is him from the back. Used Nurgle Rot to give the impression his newly acquired hellbrute frame is still creating issues with his biology.
