Fantastic effect from the base coating and quickshade. I wouldn't have guessed it was so simple from the end result. Good luck with the gaunts.

I completed this month's hobby progress challenge. The little guys took longer than expected, partly due to some hobby apathy. I think I will get pics up for the rest of the gaunts so I can start getting them done even though they will be one of my end of the year commitments.

In the meantime here are some more interesting projects I just purchased :)

9/10 Tervigons never learn the benefits of Safe Biomass. Looking boss.

That tervigon looks kewwwl. Blood spatter from the birthing sac is particularly unsettling the way you've done it. Very nice.
Survival is no birthright, but a prize wrested from an uncaring galaxy by forgotten heroes. Study the alien, the better to kill it.

Ugh, I hadn't noticed that before. Thanks (sarcasm)! Yuck....

(NOTE: If your Tervigon disgusts someone, you did a great job)

Thanks! I saw this photo and tried to get a similar (though less extreme) result that still fit with the rest do the army. I'm still trying to decide if I want to add clear goo strands

Holy Sheeet! That is by far the most elaborate and disgusting looking tervigon of awesomeness that I've ever laid eyes on. My work looks like a 5 yr old's comparatively!

Yeah, he did a pretty amazing job on it. So what do you guys think? Should I add some of the clear goo strands to my model? He did it with a general purpose adhesive (the brand is called uhu)
