Last green is on, don't know if I made basing part of the requirement. I figure that out tonight after work.

So, I'm going to say I didn't meet my goal for October even though I'm not sure if I'm going to be painting the basing; I did for the other models. I, at some point, added another material to my basing medium, so the texture is different. It also occurred to me that I can add flocking to some of my finished models basings.

I'm going to keep working on my 'Nids here. I've got most of them up on my gaming table.

What I don't have on the table is the stuff that isn't primed, the 30 gaunts for the challenge, and the gargoyles for the challenge.

The unprimed stuff are 25 genestealers, 9 Termagants, and about 30 or 40 Hormagaunts. I should probably get the finished, and partially finished stuff up on the table and get it photographed.

Wow, those last pictures SUCKED! I apologize for that, I was drinking I think. I'm working on finishing up all of the models I started during the Challenge, but only 5 at a time. I'm liking the smaller number of models.

I experimented with basing the flying stands with regular PVA instead of superglue and didn't like it. The coverage blows; the rest stay unbased.

Nice, to see so many buggers finished!
Though the green on the weapons looks like it could use a wash with magic sauce.

I think the trick is to use multiple coats of PVA and sand and maybe even finish the edges with some paint/sand mixture stuff like, the overpriced stuff from GW ;). But yeah Super glue is faster, but since i want an uneven height on the earthy parts anyhow, i do multiple applications anyhow, so I can use the cheap PVA glue there, also you can wash off PVA from your models if you need to, as long as its not dried, and there is no "not dried" for super glue (and crazy chemistry, when it interacts with water).

All the Gargoyles are finished... The gargoyles I had to attach the weapon arms to at finished. They'll be in a picture of the entire army. I was working on a... 4th Hive Tyrant, and realized the plastic legs i'd posed wouldn't work with the old metal chest so u had to sculpt an abdomen.

The front doesn't look all that great but I'm going to add details later. Besides, the model is going to be leaning forwards in a charging stance. I'll be the only one to ever see the abdomen.
