Sweet looking Inquisitors. Reminds me that I have some hiding somewhere needing paint.

Thanks, it seems to have worked out well.

Second of all, I love it when people put so much care into the painting of their rhinos. By the rules, they really are literally tjere to move and then die, but they are revered machines in the Imperium. Nice work!
I haven't had a chance to field the Rhino yet, but I'm sure that the Inquisition doors will keep it safe and avoid the whole move & die thing ; P

It's the final few days of the challenge, hope to squeeze out a few more before it's over.

I've always liked the Inquisition, but having them attached to the GK's made them a no start. Now that the codex is out I'm motivated to paint a few more models, these have been fun to paint.

I decided to go back and hit the windows with gold as well, but had a lot of overspray. Took out the airbrush and tried to clean up the overspray but didn't quite get the mix right on the grey so it turned out a little too brown. To divert attention from the windows I sprayed some of the same color elsewhere because I was too lazy to remix the color.

breaking up the color turned out to be a good thing but I lost a lot of the definition on the shapes & edges as a result. I think I'll drybrush it when I get some more time.

Drybrush brought it back to life.

I was doing the drybrushing in the FLGS that supplied the GW kits for this project & they kicked down a pot of the new "Typhus Corrosion". I was curious how it performed and couldn't think of a good reason not to make the eagles weep and add some more grime across the building.

Probably went a little overboard with it, but I'm happy with the overall result.
I had originally planned to use some weathering powders to dirty it up in the final stages; but as the project has grown into about four cubic feet of terrain, I just don't think that's going to happen.
Not sure what the next step is on this one, there was another element I wanted to add for the interior but I don't know if i'll have time...

Nothing exceeds like excess!
Bolter marines never go out of fashion. They are the little black dress of troops choices.
