It's not a paint update but the 5th Krieg Guards along with some eldar friends, just claimed 3rd place in a 2 day GT. My first piece of silverware for the shelf (well Perspex actually) :)

That's fantastic! I'm a little envious... But with all the hard work you've put in, well deserved.

Basilisk is done too apart from the crew on the back which I'm aiming to do this weekend so its finished before the end of the challenge as well. That is if I don't get too distracted by this bad boy.

It's clearly part of an Episode One pod-racer.

Are you magnetizing the weapons? If so, would you mind taking a couple of step-by-step pictures? :)

I did a pretty rushed/shoddy job on mine just so I could use it on the table and need to re-do it properly :/

Inspiring work on this army, I really like everything you've done with it. Well done, Sir. Makes me want to have a Krieg army even more than I did before.

Thanks guys

Finished building the body today - just a bit of green stuffing and filing to go and it'll be ready for paint. Had to resort to arildite to get it to hold together, even with pinning my superglue just won't do the job.

@ Scrambes, haven't decided whether to magnet or not as I don't think I'll even use anything other than the punisher :D , but if I do will definitely take shots. I did magnetise the load out on the avenger and it was pretty easy. I just drilled 2 small disc magnets into the weapon mounts under the wings and then glue a straightened piece of metal wire horizontally along the top of the guns which normally stick into the weapon mount. Can't be seen, minimum drilling and no magnet to magnet pulling away from the model problem.
