It was a massive culture shock to my group to be sure lol. We just decided it wasn't our thing and kept on with AD&D, we usually came up with our own adventures anyway and alternated with D6 Star Wars and Call of Cthulhu.

...and it wasn't like TSR was drama free, ever. haha plenty of wargamers were none too pleased with the way the SPI acquisition was handled for instance and how TSR screwed over existing subscribers.cvtuttle wrote:For the record TSR was going under.
