I think this is a really cool idea. I'd most likely be willing to host some kind of Charity Tourney at Endgame or somewhere in the Bay Area the end of the contest. We'll have to see what life looks like come march though, that's quite a while away. :D

Especially in the UK. A lot of us may not be able to travel to the USA as much I would love to. so maybe for UK players maybe book out tables at Warhammer World in Nottingham while you guys are playing in the USA?
