I too am going to have dozerblades on my Marine stuff for that same reason... though not as cool as yours!

I managed to finish up the sniper scouts tonight. I know I said land raider, but the scouts were just dying to be painted...

Ok, so it's been a while since I've done anything with these guys because I definitely got burned out a little on marines and painting in general. However, I have had a lot of time to get some painting done and I was able to put the finishing touches on my land raider recently. It's got all the extra expensive and superfluous goodies from Forge World, complete with extra armor upgrade kit as well as Raptors Chapter doors and front hatch!

I think this might be one of the ones that looks better in person if I may say so myself, but meh here you go!

Cool beans! I like the rugged looked juxtaposed with the dynamic FW heraldry

Thanks! Yeah, I decided to use the Old school raptors blue and yellow quarter on the shield to represent that it was an old school raider. I'm not sure if that fluff is canon anymore though. Oh well...

I did the same thing on a shield for the Dreadnought I did. I think it is fluffy and frickin' cool! Great choice...

More Forgeworld Awesomeness. These are my sternguard and some are in Mark IV suits (they don't have guns yet because they are magnetized) and others are in Mark III suits with boarding shields. Two have the gravitron beamer which I am counting as a meltagun. Additionally, I have done some work on the interior of their drop pod.
There are a couple of things that I still need to do, like base them and figure out how to freehand a crux on their right shoulder pad. I am pretty happy with the way they came out, although some of laurels on the helmets and some of the chapter badges were meh compared to others, but hey, freehand, what're you gonna do right? Feedback welcome!

Ian this is really shaping up well. How come I haven't seen them in person yet?
